Original concept drawings and pencil test animations were developed and the project continues as a combination of live action and 2d character animation set in a postmodern 3D world based on the imagery by Mark Leyner.

Apex, Inc., soon to become Avocent, Corp. depended on Ph'Kaki's founder to create conceptual 3D animations for products that at the time were still in research and development. The goal was to produce visuals that would quickly convey complex concepts and technologies to corporate executives at enterprise level corporations. These animations were scripted, storyboarded, modeled, animated, rendered, and were featured in presentations around the world.
